SECOM was created by Bruno Lecluse in 2001. It is a public limited company, an holding leading firms that produce innovative media WITH a joyful and constructive tone.
Originally publisher of Melody, 60s, 70s, and 80s french music heritage oriented channel broadcasted in France, Belgium, Swiss et Africa. In 2008, the audiovisual media MyZen was born. Well-being oriented, it was one of the first full HD service at this moment. MyZen TV got bigger in 2016 to focus on the well-being in a « life style » way. It is broadcasted in three different languages over forty countries in the world.
After that, SECOM introduced itself in the TNT's domain with local and continuous informations.
That's how GrandLille TV in 2009 and GrandLittoral TV in 2016 were born. Grandlille TV now manages regional articles from Lille of the free newspaper CNews Lille .
Museum Channel was bought by SECOM in 2012. Its aim is to make people discover art under a renewed aspect by providing astonishing, entertaining, and fascinating programs. In 2014, SECOM built a 1700 squared meters Media pole in Villeneuve d’Ascq next to the Pierre Mauroy Stadium.
SECOM created through the Socrate Company in 2015, an innovating journalism school to prepare tomorrow’s skilful journalists.
SECOM, via its agency Digital Street, also manages YouTube channels ("Alicia Flipo", "Le Jojo Show"
and another channel about professions).
The agency also develop AppleTV services under the Purescreen designation from
worldwide catalog of videos showing the most beautiful places of virgin nature.
SECOM also works on an multimedia advertising agency.
